Developing Great Working Relationships
Thursday 7th November, 1.30pm - 4.30pm, Newtown
Who will benefit?
This will benefit those individuals wishing to understand and learn how to build more productive relationships in the workplace.
Workshop Objectives
The degree to which we are content, motivated and energised at work can often be largely associated with the quality of our working relationships with our line manager, peers, team members and others external to the business, such as customers, suppliers, contractors and other interested parties. Sometimes, we are part of amazing relationships and teams, sometimes not. The good news is that, generally, we can always enhance relationships, starting with looking within and doing something about what is within our control. Various practical activities are used throughout the workshop.
The outline aims of which are to identify and understand:
A definition of a ‘great working relationship’
Key characteristics of effective work relationships
Analysis of your work relationships - what works and what could be better?
Tools and techniques to develop more productive working relationships
Actions to take away
