Target Audience

The session aims to provide an overview of how to create and set objectives, targets and KPI’s and how to develop a balanced scorecard to monitor and track KPI’s. Team leaders, supervisors and developing team members who are unfamiliar with the need or tools required to work strategically, in line with the organisations goals and objectives.

Course Objectives & Content

An introductory course to increase the delegates knowledge of how to create business and personal objectives linked to the organisations policies, plans and goals.

• Objectives linked to the organisations strategy

• Writing SMART objectives & setting Targets

• Creating a roll our plan for the objectives

• Creating an action plan to deliver the objectives

• What are KPI’s and examples

• Gathering and plotting the data

• Use of graphs and charts

• Reporting performance

• Responding to and reporting poor performance

• 7 Key Performance Measures for Manufacturing

• Creating a scorecard - QCDP

• Colour Coding – Red/Amber/Green

• Reporting department/area performance

• Taking action to address poor performance
