Company History: Established in 1987 to provide press tool manufacturing service to local engineering companies in mid-Wales. Diversified into engineering support (including precision spare part manufacture and installation) for local businesses involved in processing of timber, quarrying, yarn spinning, agriculture and forest industries. Has more recently expanded into drilling/ tapping and machining of medium and large batches of die cast parts and, following accreditation to ISO9001, became a supplier to the Ministry of Defence.
Products: Precision machining of components to customer specific requirements in ferrous and non-ferrous materials including plastics. General precision manufacturing/ engineering support utilising a wide range of equipment and including special purpose machinery, machine repair/ refurbishment and design services to assist with customer projects. Specialised components and replacement parts for vintage and modern vehicles, both cars and motorcycles. In association with other local companies, able to provide comprehensive services such as gear machining/ checking, complex fabrications, medium/high volume turned parts and full on-site machine maintenance and repair.
Markets: Local companies throughout Wales and the Midlands including suppliers to the Ministry of Defence.
Processes: Turning (including CNC), Milling (including CNC), drilling/ tapping, grinding, presswork and assembly. General toolmaking, special purpose machinery building/ installation and EDM Machining. Design services as required.
General Facilities: Factory (3,000 sq. ft. with expansion capability to double), fork lift load/ unload, storage facility for customer products, 48 hour customer quotation process.
