Mechanical Engineer
Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit mechanical engineers. Main responsibilities are to work on customer projects from design stage, workshop building through to installation and final commissioning of the project.
After successful product training you will be expected to carry out the assembly of Bulk Automation products in our factory and also assist with the installation of lines in various locations across the UK and Ireland. You may also be required to attend breakdowns and service calls as and when required.
Role & Responsibilities:
· Accept responsibility of projects from assembly to installation
· Asist with the building of equipment when required.
· Ideally have the ability to carry out small fabrication work
· Responsible for site Health and Safety – responsible for ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are present for all works carried out on site.
· Reading layout drawings as per installation requirement.
· Will involve some working away from home.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
· Familiarization conveyors and ABB robotic systems required is desirable not essential
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in reactive and small project maintenance
· Full UK driving license
· Good communication and customer service skills with a Proactive approach.
· Basic IT skills
· Good time keeping and planning skills
· Ability to report clear concise information on worksheets

The role is working Monday – Friday normal hours between 07:30 – 16:30
