About the Role

Position: Human Resources Administrator

Reporting To: Finance Director

This is a varied, ‘hands-on’ role supporting the Senior Management Team in spearheading the overall HR operations. Working closely with our nominated external HR Consultant, you will be the link between this company and ensuring the latest HR advice is communicated into EvaBuild.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in the full recruitment and selection process, including collating applications, organising interviews and attending interviews as required.

  • Draft offer letters and other associated documents for the onboarding of successful candidates.

  • Take an active role in the induction of permanent and agency new starters.

  • Support the attendance at local schools and colleges and exhibitions to promote EvaBuild as an employer of choice.

  • Support Management and employees with advice and guidance on employee relations.

  • Review and monitor sickness and other absence.

  • Review and implement HR policy and procedures to drive performance and to take account of statutory legislation.

  • Maintain all personnel records and ensure personnel files are up to date and secure.

  • Manage employee relations casework including and not limited to dispute resolutions, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and absence reviews.

  • Take an active role in the promotion of EvaBuild at events as required.

  • Maintain and create Job Descriptions.

  • Support Senior Management Team in the delivery of Performance Development Reviews.

Location & commitments

  • Permanent, full-time role based in our Newtown office.

  • Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with half an hour lunch.
