VACANCY - Welsh Industrial Development Advisory Board (WIDAB)

WIDAB advises Welsh Ministers and Senior Welsh Government Officials on issues relating to the Welsh Economy and assists them in their ambition to drive sustainable and inclusive growth across the regions of Wales.

The Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning is seeking to appoint a new  Chair to the Board.

The Welsh Government believes that public bodies should have board members who reflect Welsh society - people from all walks of life with lived experience - to share their unique perspectives, help us understand people's needs and to make better decisions. A representative board will help advance our vision for a More Equal and Anti-racist Wales. This is why the Welsh Government is encouraging a wide and diverse range of individuals to apply for appointments to public bodies.

For further details and to apply go to: Appointment of Chair to Welsh Industrial Development Advisory Board (WIDAB) - Welsh Government (Cais)

The closing date for receipt of applications is: 21 February 2025
