SUPERVISOR, Beacon Foods, Brecon

At Beacon Foods we are now looking for 3 full time Supervisors to join our production team Monday to Friday:

• Kettle Supervisor - fixed 0600 - 1400 shift

• Discharge Supervisor, fixed 0700 - 1500 shift

• High Care Supervisor, rotating shift 0600 - 1400 & 1000 - 1800. From Sept 25 this will be a fixed 1000-1800 shift

Key duties include:

· Be responsible immediately prior to start of shift to ensure that all aspects of the area are safe and ready for production to start

· Maintain hygiene standards throughout production shift in line with our procedures and ensure that at end of shift production areas are left in an acceptable state

· Assist with training new and existing staff in task procedures and review and record with team members all training activity.

· Act on and report all Health & safety concerns

· Ensure that all PPE is correctly worn by all staff and visitors when working in or visiting the area of responsibility

· Ensure agreed Process Control and traceability checks are completed to meet internal/external requirements

· Ensure all quality paperwork is filled out and handed in correctly

Other details:

40 hours per week including 2 x 20 minute unpaid breaks per day

28 days holiday per year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £28,135.00 per year
