Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Hourly Rate: £13-£15 per hour (dependent on experience)
About the Role: Join our dynamic workshop team as a Welder/Fabricator, where you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing our high-quality forklift attachments. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding operations on materials ranging from 3mm to 40mm in thickness.
Utilize strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes.
Follow and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Inspect welds to ensure accuracy and quality.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum Level 2 Welding & Fabrication certification.
Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or in a similar role.
Proficiency in using band saws, pillar drills, and welder setup.
Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
Previous forklift training is advantageous.
Experience with Stainless Steel TIG welding is a plus.
