Early Stage Innovation Grant Funding Available - Regional Talent Engines (Wales)
The Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub Wales has an open call for applications for our accelerator grant funded programme for early-stage founders and new engineering startups in Wales. £20K grant funding is available, plus training and mentoring included with a deadline for applications on 23rd September 2024.
Regional Talent Engines
Regional Talent Engines is a six-month pre-accelerator programme for early-stage founders in Northern England, Northern Ireland and Wales to transform great ideas into new engineering startups.
The programme includes training held in central locations in Belfast, Swansea, Leeds, Liverpool or Newcastle.
The programme is designed to provide you with the practical support you need to help refine your innovation and bring your vision to life.
By the end of the programme, you will be ready to seek further support for your new startup or pitch for your first investment to bring your innovation to market.
A place on the programme includes:
an equity-free grant of £20,000 towards living costs
training workshops, roundtables and speaker events in Belfast, Swansea, Leeds, Liverpool or Newcastle
one-to-one business coaching and mentoring
free, lifetime access to our co-working spaces in London and Belfast
Places on the programme are awarded without any fees and we do not take any equity.
Who is the programme for?
We are looking for aspiring entrepreneurs who:
are experienced engineers or skilled tech professionals
want to set up their own business in Northern England, Northern Ireland or Wales.
We support:
new innovations from any area of engineering
original ideas for scalable businesses
