Engineering HNC in Newtown

Responding to the needs of members identified in the Skills Survey earlier this year, NPTC in Newtown is now able to offer a full range of engineering qualification right through from a level 2 Performing Engineering Operations NVQ to a HNC in Engineering.  This progression is an important step in contributing to the Futureproofing of engineering in Mid Wales ensuring we have the right people with the right skills.

Starting in mid October the new HNC qualification is a two year part time course design for students who have completed a level three engineering qualification or are mature students currently working in an engineering environment with a suitable mathematical ability.

The course have been set at £1200.00 per year for the two year part time course and part funding may also be available via the Upskilling at Work Programme.  http://upskillingatwork.co.uk/funding/
