Stewart began his his career as a salesman with Pedigree Petfoods. He then joined Whitbread Beer Company as an Account Manager and progressed through various sales and marketing roles before being appointed to the UK Board in 1994 and subsequently appointed as CEO of the UK and Ireland business in 2001. In 2003 he became Zone
President Canada & Cuba and in 2005 returned to Europe as Zone President Western Europe and a member of the global executive management board.
In 2006 after 21 years within the Beer business Stewart took a healthy change in direction and was appointed as CEO Muller UK and Ireland based in Market Drayton, after 4 very successful years at Muller Stewart decided to step down from executive roles and take up “semiretirement” with a portfolio of Non-Executive Director roles.
