In partnership with Mid Wales Manufacturing Group (MWMG), we will be welcoming back Sarah Cronin, Founder of An Apple A Day, to help you with tools and techniques in this unmissable, interactive wellbeing workshop, designed to support your own wellbeing.
Sarah will show you simple steps to manage, and make time for, your mental health and wellbeing even when trying to juggle your business, family and friends! She will share her personal story of how she overcame cancer, and how she has learnt to live with her mental health issues using the tools and techniques she will discuss at the session, whilst building her successful business.
What will the event cover?
In the session Sarah will cover the following:
10.00 – Introductions & expectations
10.15 – Techniques to support resilience: What enables people to bounce back from challenges while others crumble in a crisis? We will explore the PERMA Model, which contains five factors to help you build resilience and wellbeing. Build your own ‘little bag of resilience’.
11.00 – Burnout: Burnout can take hold and affect our ability to function across all aspects of our life. Recognise burnout and begin to adopt some useful and simple strategies to lessen burnout.
12.00 – Motivation & momentum: Get your mojo back and keep going. Self-management techniques to keep going when things get tough, and find motivation when it feels like an uphill struggle.

This is for anyone who values their health and wellbeing, and wants to learn techniques on how to maintain good health while trying to juggle a business and everyday life.
About the speaker
Sarah Cronin, founder and CEO of An Apple a Day, has almost 20 years’ experience designing, developing and delivering engaging health and wellbeing workshops for the NHS, Public and Voluntary Sectors.
Sarah has trained in self-management health and wellbeing with Professor Kate Lorig at Stanford University, was operational lead for NHS Wales national self-management programme for over 5 years. She has trained countless others and is considered one of the top health and wellbeing trainers in the country.
Sarah’s passion for supporting individuals stems from finding ways to manage and live well with her own mental health condition and personal struggles.
