RMGroup UK are one of the leading turnkey robotics and automation integrators within the UK, specialising in process and packaging end of line systems. Operating within the UK and overseas, the company designs, manufactures, commissions, and supports equipment within a host of industries, working predominantly with ABB Robotics as a Value-Added Partner.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our existing production team, working in a growing business within a cutting-edge sector. The successful candidate will be required to work in our factory in Newtown, Powys, assembling our equipment mechanically with some basic electrical assembly.

Desired Skills and Attributes

· Assembly of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, robot end of arm tooling.

· Fitting sensors and wiring them (training provided) followed by basic testing routine.

· Wiring 3Phase motors on equipment (training provided).

· Fitting and running of pneumatic lines to systems, including pneumatic vales and cylinders.

· Completing daily job sheets and checklists to the required standard.

· Carrying out works using your own initiative to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently and professionally.

· Must be familiar with mechanical fitting / assembly practices and be able to read engineering drawings.

· A good understanding of the English language, both verbal and written.

· A willingness to work.

You will also be required to adhere to the companies Health and Safety policy and quality management system.

Salary: £11-15 per hour gross (subject to experience) based on a 41-hour week.
