Compact Orbital Gears expansion continues

Compact Orbital Gears are specialists in: design, manufacture, repair and service of gear boxes and rotating test rigs. Following further recent investment and expansion they are now also equipped to deal with batch manufacturing and sub-contract machining work.

We continue to strengthen our position within these sectors, in recent years we have also continued to expand our capabilities and offering.”

Recent investment has seen expansion continue with the further addition of new machinery; a multi-axis Mazak VCN 530C CNC Mill. The acquisition of this new machinery, coupled with previous investment in a Mazak Integrex i-200 5-axis machining centre and planned further investment, has put COG in an excellent position to continue expansion into the engineering and manufacturing sector. This is demonstrated by a new contract with Celeros Flow Technology to manufacture a range of ‘Vokes filters’ to support its global markets.
