Employer Engagement & Work with Schools

Due to the current situation Employer Engagement work with schools in the coming months will be very different.

Are you an employer in Powys? Could you deliver a presentation using Skype, Microsoft Teams or similar either as a live event, with the opportunity for a Q&A session or as a pre-recorded session?

I am looking for employers to deliver on one of the following topics:

An audience with………. the employer gives a presentation on their career journey, covering who they work for, job role, skills, qualifications, daily activities, opportunities etc

Curriculum enrichment – a presentation from an employer in a specific sector which highlights the real-life application of aspects of the curriculum

Alumni presentation – an ex-pupil of the school speaking about how they have overcome barriers to achieve success in their career

·         Enterprise and starting a business (Big Ideas Wales role models)

·         Apprenticeship presentation - An apprentice and a HR or Training Manager deliver a presentation highlighting what an apprenticeship is, why they chose this route, how to apply and hints and tips relating to the application process.

·         Recruitment presentation – tips on applying for jobs, application forms, CVs and creating a good impression at interview
