In the absence of any cross sector regular business networking groups across Mid Wales, Business Wales, Mid Wales Chamber, and Mid Wales Manufacturing Group have pulled together the idea of creating the new Mid Wales Business Networking. This aim is to be a platform for the businesses of Mid Wales to come together, share information, opportunities, learning and challenges, a forum where the business community, can support each other.
Our first event in Newtown was fully subscribed with over 60 attendees so don't hesitate to reserve your place for our second event.
We will have a range of interesting speakers at these events from the local business community, sharing information about their businesses, experiences, learning and top tips. We will also have a selection of experts providing informative updates on a range of current and relevant topics.
The second event is being held in Welshpool on Tuesday 24th April 2018 from 16:00-18:00 in the conference room at Welshpool Livestock Market, SY21 8SR.
Our theme for this meeting is "Challenges of Recruitment, Development & Upskilling" are we will be joined by Edd Rayner, Innovations Project Manager for one of Mid Wales most successful companies Invertek Drives who will be discussing the importance of Information management and how they have been tackling skills and recruitment.
