Networking Event at RM Group
Guests at Mid Wales Business Networking were treated to a tour of the RM Group facility in Newtown on Thursday 21st Nov. Over 70 visitors attended to hear Group Director Rosie Davies outlining the company history and the support received from Welsh Government & Business Wales, and how it has helped in terms of growth and sustainability, and the services that are available to the engineering sector in the region.

Business Wales, Mid Wales Chamber, and Mid Wales Manufacturing Group have pulled together the idea of creating the Mid Wales Business Networking, it aims to be a platform for the businesses of Mid Wales to come together, share information, opportunities, learning and challenges, a forum where the business community, can support each other.
Rowan Jones from Business Wales also gave an overview of the support available from Business Wales and Chris Probert, Innovation Specialist for Smart Innovation provided information on support that had been available to local companies and the different programmes of support available.
