Nearly 700 young people from Newtown took part in a series of workshops to support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) last week. The sessions had been arranged by Mid Wales Manufacturing Group to support the Futureproofing Engineering Skills Provision in Powys Project which is supported by Powys County Council.

The latest Mid Wales Business Networking event was held in Welshpool on Tuesday (22nd January).  The events which are held in conjunction with Business Wales and Mid Wales Chamber of Commerce to be a platform for the businesses of Mid Wales to come together, share information, opportunities, learning and challenges, a forum where the business community, can support each other.
